How much do you guys spend a month and especially your first week? I know it probably differs a lot for different people depending on circumstance, but I do want to kind of know a proper budget range so I don't overspend

I just entered college about a week and a half ago and I realized I've spent almost around $500 for books, clothes, food, etc. I know I've spent more this first week because it IS my first week and I've been getting some new things and plus spending more time to hang with the new people I've met, but it's kind of worrying me that I've spent that much so far. About $250 was on books and clothes about $100, rest on other misc items.
