lol @ the pocky costume that's adorable, i'm jealous i didn't think of that first!
hmmm it does look like cardboard & paint. i'm no genius so i can't really tell
you how to get the lid & such, but maybe you should find a box that doesn't
have like the flaps @ the end & cut it the 3 sides & leave the rest on? HAHA.

Haha I remember this Pocky costume at Anime evolution at Simon fraser university.

Okay this is gonna be hard actually cause you'll probably have to find a box obviously that'll fit your size and the size of a pocky. What you need is to buy a pocky box that represent it's size that's comparable.

1 normal size pocky as a model
1 Box that'll fit your size and represent the pocky model roughly if you can measure it and do those fractions, ie pocky model = 1/8 of the actually costume. Perhaps you can find a box like that at... Ikea when your buying something?
1 Rolling paint brush
1 friend with really good drawing (Optional)

I think when I saw it that she used wrapping paper to wrap the background of the box instead of paint, If your gonna use paint, don't just use a paint brush but those paint brush you used for painting the wall, it'll be smoother looking. Then sketch the pocky stix with a pencil then go over it with paint =]

like my friend got a cube shapred box for a domo thing for halloween,
and all he did was just glue domo's eyes and mouth on it,
and put it on :D .
