growth pills?? where do you get those?

ive done a lot of research and wish id grow too.

the best exercise i heard so far is swimming. it stretches out your entire body and you dont have to care about gravity or something like that. swimming, getting enough early sleep, nutritious food, etc.

Don't take growth pills. And definitely don't do those scary surgeries where they pull apart your bones and put metal thingys in between to make you taller D:

Four things can help you grow:
- Sleeping early and waking up early (you grow and your brain develops during deep sleep, which means you must sleep early enough.....sleeping 4 hours is not "deep" sleep. >.>)
- Swimming freestyle. it streches your arms and works your legs.
- doing high stretches every day (i'm not actually sure if this one works cuz i never tried it, but using common sense, it might, haha)
- jump roping. you have NO idea how much jump roping helps. XDDD again, not sure if it'll work for you, but for several other people, jump roping an hour or two a day has worked. and you can jump in intervals.

also, you must take it as a fact that (if you are a girl) and you are 2 years past the start of your period, your growth will be extremely extremely slow. like, i'm talking 1 inch per year, about. these exercises may or may not help at all, but it should at least help you grow faster than the 1 in/year limit, lol. although i believe most girls stop growing at about age 18.
POOF.

I read this ebook "Grow Taller 4 Idiots" and I don't remember all the facts but basically it said to trick your body into releasing the HGH growth hormone.
Some ways:
- drinking milk'
- sleeping
- stretching/yoga

foods that supposedly raise HGH levels
- tomatoes
- fish (salmon)
- cottage cheese

well im not exactly sure, but that's what I remember....

At 19 you're probably not going to grow all that much more.

BUT you can make yourself appear taller by improving your posture.
Shoulders down and back, head straight, etc.

Yeah, I agree. It's usually based on your genetics. ;D

But to reach your maximum growing potential, sleep well, eat right, correct your posture.

sleeping does help because your body releases growth hormones while you sleep.

Stretching?

I remember I ended up downloading this thing that gives tips of how to grow taller. It was mostly stretching.
I don't know if it works though, I only opened it once. T_T

STRETCH ALOT.
I'm 16 and I stretch before I sleep at night and after i wake up in the morning.
maybe it's because of that I am growing taller.
try it! there's no harm doing stretchings =]
i stretch my legs a lot btw
Its just another ordinary miracle today.

Well, there's lots of ways but always keep in mind that the most definitive fact is that you're already 19 years old, growing is a phase too and it'll be hard to develop physical growth in that age. Plus, your growth speed starts slowing down once you hit puberty. Drinking heaps of milk and substitutes doesn't really help, it's most genetics and how active you are with exercising. Do lots and lots of stretching, jumproping, basketball, etc.

In the end, it's in your genes. I'm 5'7 and my friend asked how I was so tall. I told her, when I was young, I:

Slept a lot. (Easy, I'm lazy)
Ate a lot. (...I like food?)
Got lots of calcium. (I was outside a lot when I was young, to the point I was so dark! Now my desire to be pale has beat out my desire to grow ... any taller)
Drank lots of Milk (I used to drink like 2 bowls a day? My family was weird and used bowls, don't ask.)
Swam a lot (I'm a swimmer, though now I'm just getting lazy)

My friend looked at me and said, "I did all that too =_=" Haha. So yeah, it's mainly still comes down to genes, not to say these things won't help.

I think height is mostly genetic..
but I used to be 5'6" but after playing basketball and volleyball in middle school I grew four more inches making me 5'10"
all the jumping and stretching I had to do made me taller.
I ate A LOT when I was younger, so all my weight went to my height. The same thing happened to my brother...and my cousins..but we're a very tall family

but..
-stretch every morning and night
-maybe do some yoga
-jump rope helps
-milk didn't do much for my growth but try getting a lot calcium
-sleep 7-8 hours..i heard that around 12AM-2AM you grow when you're asleep..

girls grow until the age of 21? 22? something like that..

but honestly i really think you have to start working on this when you're young around 13/14?
you'll still grow now, but not as much as you want :/

I hope this helps :]

I grew ~2" since july and I'm still growing. I bought a pair of jeans last couple days of august and they no longer fit sad.gif
my only change in lifestyle was exercise 30mins~1hr each day and drink 400ml of milk each day.

i've been in dance for 5 years so i always stretch, but i barely grew half an inch. sleep.gif
i'm not sure if stretching helps.
but i heard that you grow when you sleep between the the hours of 10pm-2pm. So go to sleep early! smile.gif
lol and i'm 99% positive that jump rope or any type of jumping exercise will get you taller. ex. basketball players jump all the time.

It's true if you sleep more, you grow more compared to someone that might be only getting 5 hours of sleep. Because you only grow while your sleeping.
