Since I'm bored and I only see 'certain' artist get shine, I've decided to create numerous threads on artists that I'm interested in. This is the first time I introduce two artist on one page.

Sam Sparro (born Sam Falson on 8 November 1982) is a Grammy nominated Australian-born singer-songwriter of Portuguese descent, music producer and former child actor. His stage name was derived from a family nickname, which in turn was inspired by the Australian radio mascot Sammy Sparrow. He is signed to UK-based record label, Island Records.Sparro is openly gay. He recently did an interview for Attitude magazine and was featured on the front cover. He has been in a relationship with Adrian Gilliland, his stylist, for the last two years.
"Black and Gold", debuted on the UK Singles Chart at number 23 on 24 March 2008, and then climbed 19 places to number four on 31 March due to heavy download sales. On 13 April, it rose to number 2. "Black and Gold" was also used in a commercial for the British TV show Skins. It reached number 5 in the Irish Singles Chart. His debut album Sam Sparro was released in the UK on 28 April 2008 (wikipedia)
.

Besides one being straight and one being gay, musically they are "different".

Harris music is straight to the point. Composition style in his song reminds me a lot of James Brown far as singing a bit and let the instruments speak for themselves (not saying they sound alike tone wise). He's not a singer that is just belting out tunes like a god but he will surely entertain you with his catchy melodies.

Sparro on the other hand is sorta like an apprentice of a master. He can really go anywhere with his compositions so I won't be surprise if he makes songs in other genres. Singing wise he has a excellent tone; you can definitely hear the Soul/R&B influence in it. I might be a bit bias but honestly I believe he could be the next standing figure in the music game. He has the look, he has the voice, and he has skills in the production area.
