like being humble?
even though they know a lot, they will not put it in people's face?
even if they are the most talented, they dont boast about it?

im sure people like that exist.
BUT, im sure they aren't mr. mrs. good looking all the time.
but to me, if they have great personality and are not into themselves,
regardless if they are 'ugly' to people, their inner beauty make them the most beautiful.

maybe it's the people you know?
the world is so big, dont end the comparison so soon.

i know for sure there's great people like that in the world.
maybe it's you yourself, maybe you're going to meet him/her later on?

You don't know me yet, right? You should. I'm the real shizz. wink.gif (And oh so humble, too!)

........
OK fine, you still wouldn't know anyone who's all of the things you're asking for in one person. Even if I weren't joking, since I'm not good-looking or that intelligent. Does one 0.5 out of three count?

I'm having trouble coming up with an example from my own life. I know a lot of people who have two out of three, but I can't think of any one person who's all of it right now, at least if you're talking about more than just attractive and smart and mean more like stunning and 99th percentile intelligence with another high level talent. I'm sure they exist, though. I mean, you really think we can have frog porn but no people who are just all-around awesome in this entire world? Impossible!

P.S. Maybe you should consider a change of scene if you're so fed up with this, because it seems like you've managed to hit the jackpot of people who are full of themselves. I've been lucky enough to interact with very few on a regular basis, even though I'm surrounded by intelligent and talented people pretty much all the time. Not because there aren't still plenty around, to be sure, but because I've been able to avoid them without too much trouble.
Hey, look! Finally a different signature after all these years!

Oh people like that annoy me, it's like a flower saying "SMELL ME SMELL ME! I SMELL NICE, DON'T I SMELL NICE?" When everyone can smell the flower already, don't have to brag about it D: (Lol weird analogy)

Although I do know a person who can sing, dance, play piano, guitar, flute and violin... She's very talented but not like that at all biggrin.gif I like people like this!

Yes, I have known a few of those people. In fact, the first person that came to mind is a dude I went to school with (elementary, intermediate and high school) named Braxton Olita. He surfed, skated, did photography, directed videos, played the guitar... an all around artist. He was intelligent and tons of girls thought he was cute. On top of all that, he was also a really cool guy. Though I remember we once almost got into a fist fight in elementary school over some misunderstanding, lol. He ended up becoming a guitarist (lead guitarist I think) for Ashley Simpson's band. He probably has fanclubs in numerous online communities.

i know a guy like that. well kind of.

i'm sure that there are people like that, but, especially when it comes to "good-looking", it depends on who is judging.

well, some of my friends have the qualities; handsome or beautiful, intelligent and yet, stay humble.

a girl friend of mine, was just so cute and pretty that many guys are pursuing her, but she didnt even brag about it. when we told her about that, she only shrugged off and started telling stupid jokes to us. a nice girl, she is! smile.gif

well, people who are good looking and totally into themselves existed too! and frankly, they deserved a hard punch on the face for bragging their looks and intelligent. People like this should be ignore and someone should teach them of how to be humble.

it's pretty hard to find. because intelligence comes with arrogance most of the time.

why do you think Jesus was so greatly admired?

smart, can walk on water(talented) and humble.

You have to strike a decent balance. I've met girls who were good-looking, intelligent, and WAY too self-effacing, to the point where you constantly have to reassure them that they're beautiful and smart because they just don't see it--which is just as frustrating as the ones who are beautiful, intelligent and well aware of it.

awww sad. some of you guys need a better circle of peers.

kinda agree with little_mixed_girl, though.
how good-looking depends on people's opinion.

but i don't care what anyone says, personality does directly affect how someone looks on the outside.
if they are stuck up, it'll show in their smile. and the smile will become ugly. therefore unattractive..

how well can people pick up on those details is the real issue!

Yeah, I know plenty of people like that... without really the good-looking part though, but I'm sure there are several. And with them, there are other personality vices. Naturally, perfect people don't exist.

The Soompi 20+ section is slowly trending into the "I hate these kinds of people" section.

Putting them in their place? Sounds like you've bit the wrong apple, so you're burning down apple trees.

Oh man, I can relate to that. It is sad to see someone who is beautiful, intelligent and kind tear themselves up. Well, it is sad to see anyone tear herself up. I know a lot of people who are talented and beautiful who just... don't see it, feel worthless.

Yeah, this topic does seem a little bit combative. You should worry less about what other people think, and more about how you think. Just because a person fancies themself doesn't mean you have to as well.

I know quite a lot of talented and smashingly attractive people who are justabout as humble and even kind of bumbling as they come. It is extremely charming and makes these people a kind of triple threat. happy.gif;

Amazingly, I do know someone like this. He's tall, good-looking, very intelligent, but like you've said, someone who "knows his place" in this world. He doesn't lack confidence and is very charismatic, but he never boasts (just a very down-to-earth, practical kind of guy). He has so much untapped potential as well. I hope he knows this and will continue working hard to become the person he is intended to be. happy.gif

Youve watched too many Disney movies. No one is perfect. Relationships is all about taking the bad with the good.
