It turns out that the photographer, which is also our friend, has fooled us all. Our other friend (the one that told me about picnik) is also a photographer and was explaining to us that the picture was edited with picnik.
So we're trying to figure out a way to get back at our buddy who has tricked us.
Edit: 1
There's a good chance the picture may be fake since I asked my friend to let me see the actual picture in the camera and he "didn't know" if he still has it in there or not.
So last night, around 2am. My friends and I (who are car enthusiasts) decided to go do a photoshoot of our cars. We did the shot at my friend's house, who lives in an Indian reserve type place. The place was known to have "ghosts", but we didn't really believe in that non-sense.
Towards the end of the area of his house, there's a cliff (we're at the bottom part, across his yard is higher ground), so there's pretty much a wall in front of his house. My friend brought out his camera equipment which consists of a D90 and some sort of expensive lens and 2 lights with those umbrella thingy.
Picture of the setup...

Before we actually took pictures of my car, we decided to use my friend's golf kart as a test. However, when we uploaded the picture, we noticed something rather disturbing.

During the time of the picture, no one was there. This was at 2 in the morning and only 3 people were outside, including me.
For better viewing, save as and zoom in on the circled red part.
