which camera should i get? canon powershot sd 1200.. sony cybershot w220.. canon a1100?

canon powershot sd 1200.. sony cybershot w220.. canon a1100?
which one is best in terms of quality..etcetc?
in order in most prefered to least prefered please
i rather get the canon powershot sd 1200 or sony cybershot w220
ive been hearing that canon powershot = best even w/ less mp?
but the sony cybershot has more mp.. bigger lcd.. better zoom
which lenses is better?

my friend has that one and its rlly nice, the picture quality is fantastic and it comes out REALLY clear.

Having more megapixels does not mean that image quality is 'better'. In fact, as megapixels increase, noise/grain also increases, which is why many camera phones that have heaps of megapixels only take big photos with average quality and a lot of noise.

I've had experience with a canon SD/IXUS model 2 years old and it is one of the best cheap compacts I've used. You probably wont be printing massive photos, so 10mp is more than enough for general viewing.

The specs on the Sony do seem quite appealing, but I recommend that you research a bit more, because there are probably better cameras in that price range.
