the security guy gave me a citation and said i could have it appealed by the dean.
the citation wont go on my record or insurance or anything since it was a on-campus thing.
but still, the worst case scenario would be paying 200$ >.<
anyone have an idea on how lenient they would be? or have been in a similar predicament as mine with a favorable outcome? lol

There are actual HANDICAP people that need that space but yet you took advantage of your dad's handicap parking permit! It's sad how you park at these slots ALL the time.
How will you explain to the dean? If your car have been parking there since the semester..

well, thats just it. i didnt know that i couldnt park there.
my dad knows i park in disabled spots too so its not like i do it without his consent or anything.
i always thought the disabled parking permit allowed the car to park there; not that the person who actually is disabled to be there.

But I'll tell you something, my friend did something similar like that except she wasn't a handicap anymore, but she still somehow had the handicap permit thing and she would always park at the handicap parking spots. She got caught of course, she had to pay more than what you need to pay, because false of disability. And she got her driving license suspended for a year too. And since you are not disabled or handicapped, your driving license could get suspended like my friend. Good luck. You deserve it

I'm just curious to know this: Why did you always feel a need to park in the handicapped parking spots? I don't get why people who are not actually disabled do it. I don't mean "because I thought it was legal," I mean the actual underlying reason why you even thought to do it.

I'm not going to be too harsh about this one because there are worse crimes out there to commit. I don't condone crimes of any size of course, but you know, you learned your lesson. It's time to move on.

you know this reminds me of a FML post i once saw...
this girl she parked in a handicapped space... and she got a ticket right as soon as she got out of the car...
the FML part was that she was REALLY disabled... stupid lady didn't see it.
SHAME ON YOU >=l...sorry. hope it goes well... may the -$200 from your wallet be a lesson to you!
