What does it really mean when a guy says "rawr"? is there a significant meaning to it?

I have no idea what it can really mean, it's just that whenever I talk to him, he just says it randomly..
and it doesn't even show that he's mad or angry about anything.. So what do you think it he's trying to tell me?

i realize a lot of people use the typical "lol, rofl" as just basic response to say they "open your page and typed something" --> don't know about the necessary reading the comments part.

It probably doesn't mean anything at all, and you're just over-analyzing something people sometimes say when there's a small break in conversation.

Like I've seen people just make a face, or go "lalala~" or whatever in between conversational topics. It doesn't mean anything, it's almost like a hint to keep the conversation going.

i say mrow and meow a lot in convos xD but thats jst me, i say that a lot even in real life
its really jst a sound effect, sometimes it avoid awkward silences
or when people dont have a comment to say to what was previously said to them, they'll jst go rawr/mrow/lalala

A bunch of middle schoolers and fifteen year olds use this, majority of the time they're trying to be "random and weird". People think it's cute when they say "It means I love you in dinosaur" but to me, it makes me want to say:
