Whenever I see him talking to his friends,

he would mostly ditch them and come up to me. And I asked him if i could wear his sweater and he just gave it to me without asking me why...

and it was raining...

SO does it mean the he likes me?

The best way to know if a person likes you is to ask them. It's as simple as that because why would you want to just sit around and wonder if he likes you or not? My guyfriend does the same thing that boy does to you too and we have no intention of ever getting together or being more than just friends. He does it because we're good friends, nothing more than that.

I'm pretty sure he does because some guys aren't like that at all.
Though, even if he doesn't like you, keep your head up high because you deserve better than he.
Don't rush the friendship though because he may lose interest if he was once interested.
Look on the bright side as of right now, at least he's your friend. Wait a bit longer. Okay? If you need me, you know I'm here for you.

There is no point in theorizing if he likes you or not. If you want to know for sure you will have to ask him. He is showing interest, but that is a step and a leap away from actually liking you.

Don't over analyze.

Just march up right to him and ask him, if he says yes and the awkwardness intervenes, this is the time you say " Yes, I'd like to go on a date with you " LOL
