assuming the diagram is drawn to scale =_=
you'll also have to assume that a person must have less than a field of vision of 180 degrees

draw a right angle triangle, using R and T as the non 90 degree vertices.
then you'll see how R can see T using the mirror.

maybe.

Because of the open space between opaque screens in front of R and S...? laugh.gif It surely gives an angle so that R could only see T and other way around.

I like science... tongue.gif So for some fun knowledge, I can share what I know (although it has nothing much to do with the answer haha)... In basic science theory, we all know that mirrors reflect lights, opposite to the opaque screen absorbing them... and... lights are useful for us to see objects clearly as the lights reflect on objects, bouncing to our eyes, making us see the whole images clearly. And then those lights bounce everywhere and mirror is perfect to reflect those lights (any lights, even bouncing off our black pants), which is why we can see an image almost as clear as what's not in reflection. Example, our hands reflect a certain percentage of lights (that's why we see our hands except in the dark of course)... but if they reflect as much as mirrors, then we could see a whole image reflection on our hands haha...

When light hits a mirror, it bounces off in the opposite direction, but at the EXACT same angle it came from. So if you look at someone through the mirror, that person can see you too (of course)...
And that open space I mentioned up there is like a good angle for R to see T through the mirror.

I've never done that kind of question before so maybe this totally doesn't help HAHA...

The fact that whoever put those opaque screens clearly left a convenient gap is probably enough to see someone else.
