I had a pretty similar situation. I wasn't embarrassed, I've seen some of my friends do much worse and then run into those guys later at outings (and then hook up with them again at parties
It's not impossible to start afresh after that. You can use this opportunity to start a new friendship with her- just text her saying you'd like to get to know her better, that you should hang out sometime, and then when you bump into her again unintentionally it will be like you guys have already established some sort of friendly connection beforehand- rather than just awkwardness.
I don't think you should be fazed about it at all. I mean if she's not embarrassed, and only you are, then you're the only person creating an awkward atmosphere when you run into each other.

Just play it off as "it was at a party" and stuff. She'll probably do the same.
It will only be awkward if you feel awkward.

Good post, here. You've both talked about it and neither of you have any hard feelings. I'm SURE it must seem awkward, but in a little while you'll both forget about it anyways. Don't worry about it!

I have a very strong feeling that you're a virgin.
But I agree yet disagree with what you said. I've never seen (lol) or heard of any girl lose her virginity at any parties. HOWEVER, I've seen the innocent girls turn into freaks at parties.

i called up the guy to apologise and felt really embarrassed about what i'd done. but we both agreed that we were drunk, people do silly things when drunk and that we wouldn't take it seriously. i see him around uni, and i just say hi and have a quick chat with him. doesn't seem awkward, and i don't expect him to do anything. at least it was just making out, nothing more.
