Like I met this girl at a party, and we were both pretty drunk. And then for like the next hour, we were making out, holding hands, sitting on each other's laps, everything. The next day, I called her and apologized for it, and she said it was perfectly ok and that it was her fault too. But we both have mutual friends and we'll probably run into each other again, and I feel too embarrassed to see her. Is there anything else I should do to make the situation right?

Why should you be embarrassed by it? Everyone knows you were both a little drunk.
I had a pretty similar situation. I wasn't embarrassed, I've seen some of my friends do much worse and then run into those guys later at outings (and then hook up with them again at parties ph34r.gif )

It's not impossible to start afresh after that. You can use this opportunity to start a new friendship with her- just text her saying you'd like to get to know her better, that you should hang out sometime, and then when you bump into her again unintentionally it will be like you guys have already established some sort of friendly connection beforehand- rather than just awkwardness.

I don't think you should be fazed about it at all. I mean if she's not embarrassed, and only you are, then you're the only person creating an awkward atmosphere when you run into each other.

Would be only embarassing if you were not drunk at all.

If you constantly think it's awkward, it'll always be awkward if you see her.
Just play it off. If it was a drunken night, who cares?

Why are you embarrassed for bonking someone? Fact of life man! It's fun!

If it was mutual and you already apologized about it, don't worry about it.
Just play it off as "it was at a party" and stuff. She'll probably do the same.
It will only be awkward if you feel awkward.

If she looks good, I'd say you should pull it off again, but sober this time.

You know when people are really drunk they express their true feelings. It's a truth serum. So you made out with her and she made out with you? That says something.

Wait, are you dating someone? If not, then don't feel bad about it! Like you said, you were both drunk, you've made your peace, move on and be careful who you make out with next (you might REALLY regret it the next time!) wink.gif

hmm.. getting drunk... but the question is if you're drunk, you probably can still differentiate between things and do things correctly (well i can). Just that you don't "think twice" before wanting to do what you want to do ^^" (get rid of hesitation basically)

So doesn't that kind of explain something?~~

Good post, here. You've both talked about it and neither of you have any hard feelings. I'm SURE it must seem awkward, but in a little while you'll both forget about it anyways. Don't worry about it! smile.gif smile.gif

I have a very strong feeling that you're a virgin.

But I agree yet disagree with what you said. I've never seen (lol) or heard of any girl lose her virginity at any parties. HOWEVER, I've seen the innocent girls turn into freaks at parties.

this sort of happened to me a few weeks ago
i called up the guy to apologise and felt really embarrassed about what i'd done. but we both agreed that we were drunk, people do silly things when drunk and that we wouldn't take it seriously. i see him around uni, and i just say hi and have a quick chat with him. doesn't seem awkward, and i don't expect him to do anything. at least it was just making out, nothing more.
