It's so frustrating when people ask me if i'm mad or angry just because of my facial expression.
It seems that i always look 'angry/serious/mad' when i'm just putting on my neutral face. People
who i don't even know go like: "You can smile if you want to you know?"

My mom has the same thing
When i see her sit infront of the tv she has this angry/serious expression on her face and it goes like
Me: "Is something bothering you?"
Mom: "No... why?"
Me: "You look so mad."
And than she gives me the biggest (obvious) fake smile.

Anyway, has this ever happened to any of you guys?
It makes me wonder what people think of me when they see me for the first time, .
It's not like i'm a negative person or anything, i'm happy most of the time...

I've been told many times that I should smile more often. It gets annoying when ppls try to tell me what I should do with my face. My neutral face always looks like I'm mad and ppls do ask me if I'm mad when I'm not..

same here! My friend keeps on saying that I looked like pissed or something plus they always blame me whenever we start fighting that I'm the one who started it all..wtf!!! and it is just because of my usual face..what do they want us to do..have a face surgery?!LOL

or when the sun shines, u tend to lower ur eyebrows abit because of the shiningness xD
When I do that my friends always say; why are u angry?

That is one more reason why I like winter more than summer xD

Yeah, that's been the story of my life. Once you actually talk to me I tend to smile a lot in conversations, but when I'm just going around doing my thing, I look like I'm pissed off. I've gotten people telling me to smile more and making exaggerated smiley faces at me to "demonstrate" my whole life. My mom used to get mad at me and say "Don't you look at me like that!" when I wasn't looking at her in any negative way to my knowledge. A couple of my friends told me that when they first saw me, they were actually afraid to talk to me because they thought I would punch them or something. Siiigh.

The most annoying would have to be the vice principal of one of my elementary schools, though. I had to go down this one hall to get to class every morning, and every morning he would stand in the middle of it and say things to students. Every freaking morning for years he would clap me on the back and say "Smile!" which just made me actually as annoyed as I looked.

ugh i get this alot. i'm just sitting there, and someone i know always asks me if i'm okay. i get caught off guard and say yeah and they're like, oh you look mad...i have yet to find out what it is but its darn annoying

I hate it as well. I'd just be walking into the kitchen and my mother
would give me this "Wtf is your problem?" look. And in return, I just
ask, "What?" And she just goes on about me having an attitude. My
sisters say the same thing about me always looking like a boy with
my ugly, angry face. Lol. People at school never ask because I'm
just a bit happy there. When home, I'm just emotionless. Don't really
understand why people have to know what's wrong with me. It's my

I'm the same, except people say I look mean and not angry which is even worse lol. It gets so annoying to hear people comment on it all the time though, it's like, what's your point, smartass?

LOL, mine is too. HAHA am not liking my neutral expression very much so I do this face with bloated cheeks. Makes me look goofier 'cause I usually have this really serious face... it's because of the eyes. ~.~
