my bf had the Sony X1, it was fine the first month or so. to be honest i still dont think it was worth the price of $600! Anyway, the keys started john teshing up and wouldn't even show up on the screen. I dont know if it was the phone itself or the Windows Mobile OS but it was major laggy and the screen often froze and went blank. The user interface is HORRIFIC. Everything is confusing and the wifi doesnt even automatically connect or STAY connected. Sometimes it wouldnt even detect any wifi connection. In my experience, Windows Mobile phones are not worth it. They have so much unnecessary crap that comes with the phone and very little RAM or memory. Don't even think about getting any apps. We tried the supposed "app store" of Sony Ericsson and there was nothing there. So no widgets like twitter, myspace, aim, etc. Also, the panels that they so much advertise are useless. If anything, it makes the screen freeze even more. Ridiculous! The touch screen is even harder to use, everything on the screen is so small. I dont know why they dont let us change resolution or font size. Forget about using the touch screen with your fingers, you would have to use the stylus for it and that is a drag the stylus it comes with is so uncomfortable to use. I really hope they improve the software for X2 and X3 or whatever but if its still running Windows Mobile then I would just have to say good luck...You are so much better off with a Blackberry, iPhone or Android phone.
