I've been looking at this phone for a while now, especially since my SE w760 has run out of its warranty in the past couple months. I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on it, good or bad.. along with a few questions (always the questions!)

I've always been quite fond of SE and now that they're coming up with more updated technologies on their phones to keep up with the market is definitely making me keep my eye on them. =D

1. Does it have Smartsearch?
2. Are the buttons difficult to press (ie. too rigid?)
3. Does it look like the camera lens can get scratched very easily?
4. How long is the battery life?
5. Any lagging at all?

Here are the specs. Judging from the specs, the phone looks awesome. I love my w580i...I hope the price gets reduced soon; I don't think I'd ever pay for a $600 phone T_T.

Since the unlocked version just came out there aren't many reviews on it, except for one that wasn't in favor of it. I'd wait for a few days/weeks until more reviews come out before making a judgment.
I hope this helps a bit smile.gif.

I've also seen the specs provided by gsmarena.com, as well as their full review - which has me feeling so amped for this phone haha. I just wanted to know if anyone had personal experiences with it. I'll likely wait until after the Christmas rush before I get it - that gives SE more time to work out any bugs, and after too the price should drop. At least, that's what I'm hoping for!

I saw it at pmall the other day [a mall in Toronto] and held it in my hands.. I think i cried a little tear of joy. And then clawed at the display case before my sister pulled me away. I'm not totally enamored, I swear..

I'm sorry to revive this thread but, is Aino or Satio better.. if they can be compared?

I'm getting a new phone, and I have a hard time choosing. I think I might like Satio better, but I'm a bit unsure with touchscreen,

I just got a Satio, and I did a little research before hand. Satio's a fair bit more expensive but I think it's mainly cause of the 12.1MP camera. Which is better than a lot of digital cameras...but a waste if you're only gonna see the pics on the phone. I think it's a bit bulkier as well? I dunno. Guess it depends if you'd rather use a physical keypad or a touchscreen one.
I'm starting to love SE :3 they usually have awesome features.

When I looked through reviews, some found it kinda annoying that the touch screen only works when the keypad's not folded out...but I'm pretty sure that was one of the only major faults.

That remote play thing's apparently handy too. I don't have a PS3 though T_T

For your questions' i can't answer all of them..but i suggest you might want to wait a while untill the phoen becomes more stable..
My frnd recently got the SE Aino.. and he had it less than a week, and the touch screen already does not work.. he sent ti back to get it fixed right now..
no he did not drop ti or anything..
alot of owners of Aino have said that the phone does have alot of probs and doens't work properly

As for the camera lens.. yes it can, it doesn't have the cover to cover the camera liek nokia phones usually have.

The phone lags ALOT. usually phones usually lag if there's alot of stuf fon it..
but.. we tried deleting everythign ont he phone.. and it still lags..

gd luck!

My friend has the aino. I was playing around with it, but it's totally laggy, the touchscreen responds kinda slow, and at first he couldn't even get his music onto the thing. Bluetooth was being weird to him when trying to connect &
the camera.. it reacts kinda slow.

my friend also has one, i was playing around with it.. she had her music player on so i was expecting some lagginess, and it was really laggy. and then it froze LOL. yeah but im still convinced its a one-time thing tongue.gif...

if you cant deal with lag, dont get SE phones because they generally do lag with all the functions and stuff. personally i would get it but only in the white, the black looks plain..

I bought this phone a few months ago for my gf, and I had the opportunity to play around with it. Personally, I think its a nice phone, but its definitely a phone that you must be careful with since the screen plays such a big part of the Aino's functionality. I have also found that the phone lags a lot. The lag also gets worse when you're running background functions like the music player or when you have the wifi turned on for extended periods of time.
Overall, the specs are very nice, but it doesn't feel like the phone can handle all those functions smoothly.

Are SE phones laggy in general? I've had SE phones and currently using one too and I love it. But it's not touch screen though, it's one of the older out-dated ones. I'm looking for a new phone and either Aino or Satio seem great.

Just wonder which one is better; Aino or Satio? Judging from people here Aino lags a lot and so Satio might be better?
i met the future that didn't reach you.
