I went to prom so i have nothing to regret!

if you break it down, your not missing much
but prom itself was indeed a lot of fun.

if your circumstance does not allow you to go, just hook up
with someone younger and go to theirs ... given it won't be as much
fun since its not your grad class haha jkjk

I went to senior prom, not junior prom. My friends said Junior prom was better. Maybe because when we were at senior prom, there were a lot of problems and drama between us. Some of us talking behind each other backs, some people blaming each other at prom, saying that their prom is ruined because of that other person. But that's another story. D:

Prom itself was alright, I guess.

Went Sophmore and Junior year. Gonna go to my Senior one this year too :] So no regrets.

A lot of fun. I think everybody should experience it. The most fun part is the dressing up part. Prom is just a dance. Mostly everybody freaking. ;] But for those that don't like that kind of stuff, go with a group of friends. It's just as much fun dancing without a date then with one.

I never regret or even think about going to the prom only because my school year was effed up.
No one really have school spirit at all and the theme and place was pretty bootsy.

Also the guys in my school wasn't cute or were just jerks. =\

I didn't go and I've never regretted it.
I was never into stuff like that, and I never dated people from my school (high school was a series of long distance relationships), so I just never felt the need. Still don't. Prom is just a really expensive date to me, and honestly, if all goes well, then in January the boyfriend and I will be going on one of those anyways XD

Nah, no regrets whatsoever. I didn't even hesitate when people asked me whether I was going or not, just "no". None of my real friends attended the same high school as I, and as tempting as it sounded, I just didn't feel like going with my classmates whose goal for the evening was to get as drunk as possible, as fast as possible. Not my thing.

Waste of time and money if you ask me. It's one night where a bunch of kids pretend to be adults wearing tux and dresses then get wasted afterwards and possibly wake up dead or pregnant.
The names Kuraiya. Pleasure to be an acquaintance.

Uhhhh. Well that's not what I or my boyfriend did after OUR prom but okay. huh.gif

Well I went because it was something I wanted to experience, and I wanted to be able to wear a beautiful dress and get all dressed up and stuff, and I'm definitely glad I did. But I really can't blame the people who think it's just not worth it. My sister and her girlfriend never went and I don't think they regret it.

Nah, I didn't regret it. Besides, I got to spend my 200+ dollars on something more meaningful.

im a senior now.
my current bf and i went to his last year's junior prom.
but he went to a private school and there wasnt too many students so it was a junior/senior prom.
i had a lot of fun. [:
but that's because i knew his friends and his friends. and guys tend to be cool with girls.

if my bf went to MY prom at my public school.
i don't think he would have fun. =/ because all my friends are guys and they arent very social when it comes to meeting other guys. especially if he's my bf. i guess its just awkward. lol.

senior year i definitely want to go to prom with my bf
but i enjoy dances with friends as well as a date.
but my bf doesn't dance T-T and he doesn't know my friends so idk how its going to be this year..

Nope, I have no regrets.
But then it depends on how much you really wanted to go. I wanted to go at the time, but eventually I figured out that I probably wouldn't have much fun and I was right smile.gif
Back after a long time. It's nice to be on Soompi again :)

Nope. I missed my Junior prom and Senior prom, I don't regret it at all. There isn't much to regret anyway, if you think about it. you're spending loads of money on one night that isn't that significant in your life.

I didn't go to my senior prom, but I have no regrets at all 'cause my friends and I went swimming instead, and it was one the of the best times I've had with them, especially since all of us were going our separate ways for college.
Ahhh....memories. I remember we swam like there's no tomorrow, ate crazy amounts of junk food (in the pool XD), and watched a lot of horror movies. LOL

At my high school, junior prom is all about dates ('cause it's an all-girls school, so we rarely see guys tongue.gif), and senior prom is all about girl friends, but being at home with friends is more intimate for us than being at a hotel and stressing over whether we look good or not.

I also went to 3 other proms. Only one of them was extremely fun 'cause I was my gay friend's date, and we were partying like crazy with his other gay friends, who are also my friends, so I guess it also depends on who you're going with.
