Recently, I went to the dentist to clean my teeth and was informed that I still have two baby canine teeth. A week after, I went back to get a panoramic x-ray and saw the two permanent ones hiding above. My dentist said it might be too far back to fix and that I've passed the perfect age range to get it fixed (I'm 18). I guess they're not specialized in that area because I did some research and saw many people that are in there late 20's-30's getting them pulled down without any problems. I'm making an appointment with an orthodontist to see what can be done.

Has anyone ever experienced this? If you got it fixed, how old were you? Do tell me everything
