I bought a used infiniti g35 on the west coast of canada. Accordin to Carfax, the first owner was from Quebec, the east coast. First owner sold the car on 5/18/2009. Then the second owner sold the car on 6/29/2009, like within 2 months period. You think there something fishy about this car? The car seems to be in good condition; i didnt get a mechanic to inspect. Ive already signed the bill of sale but the car is still with the dealer so I still can just cancel the deal now and lose my deposit or just john tesh it, get the car now and worry later

maybe the 2nd owner is a private small dealership? if it's a clean title you should be ok. fyi even the most skilled mechanics can't tell if a car has been wrecked if it's been restored well enough. a government official who dealt with stolen/salvage vehicles advised me about this when i was car shopping.
i'm a fan of g35's. what color is it?

Carfax is a good thing, but don't rely on it. Just because it's a "clean" title or record, doesn't mean it never got in an accident or issues. It simply means nothing was claimed.
But take it to a mechanic you know or select a dealer other than the one you're purchasing it at to inspect it. Even big dealerships can be shaddy. Good luck with the car.

dont fully rely on carfax, check the side of the hood fender etc etc to see if the paint is smooth or if there are "grains of sand/particles/dust/" on it. that means its been repainted and in a accident

If you're buying a cpo through the dealer then you don't have much to worry about. if it's private sale and you see any major damage then just tell them you don't want it and ask for your deposit back , bc the damage was never stated.
I'm assuming you read the description for the ad and it didn't state any major damages, bc the law requires for the seller state any major damages. (not sure about this for canada but i'm sure it's about the same, just google it for more specification)

its a 05. You could say earlier civics have tranny problems, but not all of them.
i inspected myself
, but if there was an internal problem, i wouldnt be able to find it. I know dude, its gonna cost alot more in the long run. But i didnt want to get it inspected.
