i've been driving automatic all my life until recently when i got a manual car. how do you set the cruise control for it..? do you just shift into the gear you want and press the cruise control button..? sorry for the silly question

Stay in your cruising gear (5th gear for 5 speed 6 gear for 6 speed), set the cruise. Done deal.

It's the same concept as a automatic, but your manually shifting into your overdrive gear, before setting the cruise control on.

yah, i think u have to be in your final gear, then you can set it to w.e u want

i dont see how its any different from auto?
you accelerate up to the speed you want to set it to cruise control at, then you hit set cruise.
