Just wondering if anyone heard of her or heard her music before. Her debut album Lungs came in the mail the other day, and it's pretty good. "Rabbit Heart" is stuck in my head right now. I hear she's pretty popular in Europe. Her music is kinda goth and her voice reminds me a bit of Amy Lee's (from Evanescence), almost a bit opera-like too.

Anyone know if she'll be playing in NYC anytime soon?

Love, love, loooove her. Rabbit Heart and Dog Days are my faves.

Cosmic Love, Hurricane Drunk, and Howl are really good too. Also, everyone should listen to her cover of Cold War Kids' "Hospital Beds"... I think it's better than the original. Her voice is so breathtaking and I hear that she goes crazy in her live shows.

She also has a great sense of style. I want to steal her wardrobe!

I usually find that with an album I only like a limited number of songs but with florence and the machine, I pretty much love every song.

I have it on very good authority that she is bloomin' amazing live, unfortunately I couldn't go to one of her gigs but a couple of friends did go and they were amazed. I intend to go! I will go!
