Okay. So I need a new camera because mine is like 5 years old =.="
And I want a camera that is really high quality but not too expensive.
My current camera takes really fuzzy and, well, it just doesn't look professional.
I need a camera that can shoot really nice quality pictures.
Some examples of the pictures that I consider "really nice quality":

Please, if anybody can give me a camera name and some pictures taken with that camera, I'd appreciate it!

Keep in mind that the pictures you see on the web are compressed and smaller, so it appears much sharper than if you view them full screen.
I'm assuming your budget is below 1000$, like most people. For brands, go Canon or Nikon. If you choose DSLRs and go Canon, the EOS Rebel XSi would be a good pick. If you go Nikon DSLR, try looking up D80 or D40.

hmm well,
most cameras nowdays will give you the sort of quality you're looking for.
You can get pictures like that from cameras cheaper than DSLRs like the canon powershot G10 or G11.
Also consider the Nikon P6000. They're really really really good cameras with excellent image quality.

If you want a DSLR, Nikon D40 ($400-500; this one includes lens) should be a good starter for ones that aren't experienced in the dslr world yet. The one that I use for my regular photoshoots is my canon rebel xsi (with 28-135mm lens); this camera imo is pretty user-friendly, just not so much price-friendly.
If you want a regular P&S (point & shoot), my opinion would be Sony Cybershots; the one that I use is the DSC-W170 model, and it takes really good photos with lots of options to choose from. I got mine for around $250+ at Best Buy (it's a 10.1 megapixel camera too!) :3
ALL IN ALL, when thinking of buying ANY camera, please make sure to research a lot on it! And be sure to test it out when you go to the store to see it...I wouldn't buy one online before testing it out, imo. But if you're confident enough that that will be the camera that you absolutely want, then go for it!
Hope this helps!

I would get a waterproof one, they are so cool! Olympus makes good ones. Other than that, you can't go wrong with a Sony or Canon. Just get one with 10.0+ megapixels and more than 3x optical zoom. Hope that helps,
