Plus, people die from the normal flu too, just the normal flu has been around so long that its not a big deal.

anywayz...the vaccine should not harm anybody. It's a dead virus so it should not cause any reaction other than pain or some soreness in the injection site. Unless, you have an allergic reaction to (which can happen to any vaccine) then that's a totally different situation. I know two people that died in swine flu, so like everybody says..better be safe than sorry!
FYI: they wont give you the swine flu vaccine until you have gotten your regular flu shot. reason: they don't want the virus to mutate!

I've never had any flu shots, and have never gotten sick. *knock on wood* So why bother getting the swine flu shot.
just wash your hands regularly, carry around anti-bacterial gel, and don't touch your face (mouth, nose, eyes) w/ your hands.
same here. i never got any flu, hepatitis shots, etc. I think that what bunny says is currently our best line of defense. I don't feel comfortable with getting this shot. I don't know anyone who has gotten it

And my school was giving the injection out for people who filled out the paper, but they rejected my paper since I have mild asthma. >_>
So...whatever now. loll. I already had a really bad flu a couple weeks ago, and I was prescribed some tamiflu. I'm okay now, so as long as I don't hang around people who are all sneezy and coughy I should be okay. Plus they have hand sanitizer machines installed in every single room of my school, which should mildly help.

I agree. Since we're thinking along the same lines...you should let your boyfriend screw you with no condom. I mean, since it isn't 100% then what's the point right?

They ran out of seasonal flu shots and H1N1 shots and I have asthma so they recommended me not to take the mist.
I thought I had first priority since I have asthma, I guess not.
^my post a while back...
I got swine flu the day I was due to get the vaccine.
yay!
____ se7en years, still going.
