My friend said "cherish life before time", to which my other friend replied, "time is life, life is time."

Do you agree? Does time and life pretty much go hand in hand?

I'm not sure if i agree though. It's like my friend is saying life revolves around time. Does it really though? I don't know, but I think time is only a part of life.

What do you think?

Wow.....that aporism is enlightening much....

Who was your friend? Confucius?

I feel happy letting hours go by with me just lazing around, but in retrospect, it's all a big waste of time, and I haven't done anything to better my existence or to contribute to society.

Time and life are inextricably linked. We are mortal after all, though it's easy to forget when we're caught in the currents of an endless present.

We're always living in the present, and each second that goes by becomes history.

life does not equal to time. they're merely cousins. time is time. there is nothing beyond that and nothing that can be done to change the way it runs. but life, can be full of passion, responsibilities, lived with every creative ways that were designed to make life meaningful, if only for that short period of time.

Life does go hand in hand with time. But life does not revolve around time. Time is only there to remind us life is short. As cheesy as it sounds life is short, that's why we have to live life without regrets. Only you can decide if you want to make an impact in this world or just impact the people around you.

Is life really as short as they say? When I see so much of the same thing for so long, I question that.

Nevertheless, I get that you won't be around forever. Additionally, I see the fact that over time things change. So as the years go on, you're perspective on things and why you feel the way you do may as well.

Life could end unexpectedly. You won't know when your last day existing on this earth will be.

Then, there are things that could of been but never were. Some things in life may never be realized.

So that's why you should treat every day like it is your last.

I'd say life is a part of time, since life deteriorates as time passes.

But you're probably not referring to the same life that I refer to.

According to the criminal justice system, I guess they can be interlinked. Life is time, time is life - at least in the eyes of a prisoner.

Time actually doesn't really exist, it's just what humans created to measure their life.

I'm not quite sure what you mean about that.

Everything is associated with time, when you were born the countdown of your life has already begun.

It means time exists since we use it to measure our life. Someone must've gotten confused.

It is wrong to say that time equates life or that life equates life because they simply don't. Time also does not rule over life.

However, there does exist a very important relationship between the two, and that time is merely an element of life. Time really is money, because it's so valuable in our lives. It's easy to let time slip away from our hands... I don't even know where I'm going with this haha, this is merely a philosophical rant :(.

Time is Money = True
Money is Life = True

Therefore, Time is Life...

I personally believe that even after one's existence ends, life someplace else will continue. So I guess in that sense, life can continue to exist even when time ends.

I thought more along these lines as well. Wouldn't say they equal each other, but are interrelated to varying extents.
