sorry if there's a thread like this around...

i find this so annoying. i hate it when my friends "pair" me up with random people and think that i like them. also because they start getting loud about it and then people think i'm a stalker or something. dry.gif

it's just so annoying. i hate it when people do this to me, but i usually let it pass. but recently i've just been getting so freakin' annoyed at a friend that keeps pushing that i like this guy.

i only told her that he was friends with the guy she used to have or has a crush on. then she started talking about him a lot. it's making me think that she likes him or something but she says she doesn't. she just keeps noticing him at random times and whenever she brings him up, she somehow also brings in the question "oh, is that because you like him?" or something like that.

i said NO ALREADY. geez. dry.gif

sorry that it was somewhat of a rant. does anybody else's friends ever do this to them? how do you deal with how annoying it is?

it's so annoying and that girl will never stop. next time she brings that up i really just want to tell her to stfu already...but that'd be kind of mean.

according to the book. You can use a little tactic and say you like someone and just make up a name or something.

On the other hand, you can just say you have interest in girls? lol. That always work--> magically~

YESSSSSSSS.

Most of my friends are understanding though. Once they were asking me if I liked someone, and I just had to tell them no, and they we kind of just like 'okay'. smile.gif But there are others who can keep on teasing me about it. Although frequently, sometimes it does not come at the right times, right? Hahahaha.

Oh, and instead of making up a person I like, I actually just refer them to one of the celebrity crushes I have. Hahaha...

hahah i guess i could do that. but then my friends would search up someone in the school with that name and then decide that it's them. even if i say it's not o_o maybe i'll say he lives somewhere very far away, lol

also, i don't want to use that interest in girls because some people started asking me that because i don't talk about my crushes and people began getting suspicious of me for a little while...i didn't like it, haha

hahahah, i wish my friend could be more understanding like that. sometimes i feel bad for the guy because she'll say something like "you're totally stalking him!" and he's right there. lol, i wonder if he thinks i'm stalking him now. according to my friend, because we wore the same color shirt. ,_, it's like, i know she's joking and all, but i bet she's freaking him out or something. lol

I've been paired with one guy from high school for close to four years now (we're in uni now). It was ALWAYS annoying and still is. It's funny at times but dear lord, I wish they'd give it a rest. That's why I keep saying I need to find a boyfriend so that they'll shut up about it. Everyone still teases me endlessly about him. T_T

Agreed. One of my friends shouted loudly in the hall about how I like this guy. I was so pissed because he heard it as well and probably TOOK it in the wrong way. Not once I have said that I liked him or anything so I don't know where the hell she got that idea from.

Yes, that's annoying, but more annoying than that is the guy HIMSELF thinking you like him.

yes. when me and my male best friend just met and started hanging out, people started saying things and pairing us up. It was so uncomfortable but I'm glad people understand now that we're nothing more than close friends

omg, i totally relate to you guys.
it's freakin annoying. happens to me every year. T___T
a girl and a guy can't be close friends without people making assumptions that they like each other.
Which will lead to rumors and many more untrue things.

I find it funny. tongue.gif
Whenever my friends ask me if I like so and so, I just laugh it off and make a joke of it.

But, if they shout out some kind of BS where everyone could hear, then I'd get seriously pissed. I mean, who does that mellow.gif

None of my friends does that to me, thankfully. Or else I'd seriously start war on them : D

OMG, this is so weird but one of my classmates always said things like "you and______ should go out" and I was like "NO!~" b/c I didn't like him then and thought he was weird, but then later I got to know him better and I ended up having a crush on him...

just when the last one ended, my friends decided to start again haha.
this time it's... worse, i would say. because i was confused about my feelings for him,
but i never expressed it. so them saying that i like him made me even more confused.
and plus, a bunch of guys at my school go to his church (since he doesn't go to my school)
and they all tease me and say i'm his girlfriend. "don't be mean to her or he'll get mad" haha -sigh-
i just pretend i don't care and ignore it.... eventually they give up
(but not without pointing out that i'm not denying it 'because it's true' -.-)

I tend to not say anything towards those rumours. Since its not fun coz i dont go spastic they will slowly lay off.
If someone asks me if i got someone in mind.. ill just say "narhhh i just scout"

No, that would be effective. How do you expect your friends to know that stuff bothers you if you're telling us instead of them? Tell her to shut up next time.
