Today was his birthday and I was excited to hang out with him and celebrate his birthday. I even spent a lot of money on his birthday present and trying to look cute and everything. So I waited for him...I even called his friend and one of his friend told me that they're going to my crush's house and didn't even tell me about it so I got stood up because I was suppose to meet my crush at the Asian Garden Mall instead I got stood up by my crush. Should I be mad at him or at least let him explain to me why he stood me up?

You have every right to be mad, but at the same time you should also expect an explanation from him.

Maybe he just completely forgot? highly unlikely, but it may have been an honest mistake where he has completely blanked out.

Or possibly, he doesn't have a crush on you? therefore he didn't see the importance of it.

Reality is he didn't forget. He knew what he was doing. You have every right to be pissed off! You have every right to confront him about it.

While waiting did you try calling him to see where he was? He either forgot about the plans, when did you guys plan it and talk about it? Or he just didn't think it meant much hanging out with you and he rather spend his birthday with his friends. Talk to him about it.

Hum btw did you go to the meeting place after the phone call or stay at home after that? o.O Maybe he was waiting for you there? Anyway I think you're entitled to be mad at him! You have every right to! However hear his explanation first (without mentionning that you knew he was going to celebrate his birthday with his friends, just to see what he'd say), if he lies, then let go of that guy seriously...Why? Firstly he doesn't seem to be interested in you, maybe he was playing with you (telling you he would spend his birthday with you). And secondly, he doesn't seem to be a decent guy, who'd stand a girl up? No gentleman does that, even if he doesn't like you, a promise is a promise, unless something serious happened (it doesn't seem like that since he invited his friends over), he had to be there no matter what...

Asian Garden Mall??
I think yoou live in Westminster too! (correct me if im wrong)

anyways, that was a pretty heartless thing to do. I mean..he should at least have the decency to tell you he can't make it. But either way it's bad to stand someone up. Like the poster above me said, it should have been something pretty important to just not show up... how rude.

Ask for an explanation and then yell at him after wards!

I remember how this guy I liked liked me back and how he thought I was still interested in him after he stood me up T-T I was suppose to hang out with him and two of our other friends after we spent about an hour discussing about what to do and how on earth I was going to meet them (I no longer lived on residence and my school is in a different city and since it was summer, the bus rarely comes by). I can't believe I actually waited for 5 hours outside of my house for them (how stupid, eh?). None of the three guys picked up my call and one of them eventually confesses to me a week later than my crush told everyone not to pick up since they wanted to have a guys day out instead. After I found out what happened, I was pretty mad about it and I stopped talking to him completely. That's how we both walked out of each others lives.

Wow, that's just plain rude if he doesn't at least offer an explanation.
Ask him at least?
If he doesn't have a reasonable explanation then yeah, just forget about him.
Not worth it.

He obviously doesn't feel the same way about you as you do with him.
You do have every right to be mad.
The least he could have done was called you to tell you he wouldn't be able to make it
but he didn't.

Before getting angry (which you probably are, wouldn't blame you either), ask him for an explanation. Depending on what he tells you then do whatever you want with him
