so.. photos from my camera are stretched out, it made things and people in my photos look chubbier and shorter in my wide?screen (images from the internet aren't though).. i don't think it's the program viewing's fault.. since it's like stretched in paint.
anyway.. then i changed my resolution to 1280x768
so the photo would look more normal xD though now.. the text seems a bit narrower and all.
just wondering.. if i upload a picture on a blog or site (facebook, myspace, etcetc) and view it from someone else's desktop
it would look different on the same depending on their own screen + resolution right? ohmy.gif

and does the pictures being stretched out even have to do with the resolution in the first place? o.O
because pictures on internet are like fine no matter what resolution their at?

i probably doesn't have anything to do with your screen resolution. When you choose your wallpaper, default settings are usually stretch to fit screen. All you have to do is choose the center or tile option.

Windows Vista:
Go to....
1. Control panel
2. Appearance and Personalization
3. Click "Change desktop background" under Personalization category.
4. At the bottom of the window, you should see 3 options: Fit to screen, tile and center. Choose center to unstretch your image.

I can post up instructions for apple os and windows xp if you need them.
