When you kiss someone, are you suppose to feel something if you truly like them? I think kissing is just overrated, because I have never felt something special when I kissed guys I've been seeing. (Also doesn't help that I have saliva phobia!)

I don't think I'm emotionless. There are some guys I wish I could date/be with, but things just never work out. So could it just be a matter of being with the wrong person?

It depends on the couple really. I knew a couple who went out for 2 years and kissed for the first time after one year and a half. To some people, kissing isn't necessary in a relationship just because they feel as if they don't need to show physical affection to prove that they're in love. In others, some will feel the need for physical affection so that they 'know' that their s/o still loves them. The rest .. well .. they kiss just for experimentation and just because it's 'fun'.

I LOVE KISSING! I used to think making out was really gross. I think once u find a person that you really like/love, you wouldn't mind what bad habits they have and you wouldn't mind their saliva either. :]

For me, it's not about the kiss itself, it's that second right before I close my eyes when his face is very close and the dazed expression that takes my breath away. So no, it isnt overrated, You just havent experienced it with the right person.

Yes, it can be overrated if you do not do it well, so you are not feeling the impact. If its done correctly you can achieve an o........., isn't that alot of fun!

Go with the guys you want to be with, then compare/contrast.

I love love love kissing my bf. Its fun A little peck here and there when we're walking around together is fun. But I'm not gonna try to make out/eat his face while we're outside, where the whole world can see us. I hate people who do this.

I actually love hugs. I thing I like cuddling over kissing. It makes me feel so cozy and safe when someone hugs me right.
