Seems like you're the one he's interested in, not her. I don't see a problem in hanging out with him, it's not like you're even friends with that girl.

I know how you feel. I mean i can say is if youre really interested in the guy then go for him. cause you dont even know half the pain of watching the person you really like alot with someone else.
i know you'd feel guilty and all that stuff .... but hes not interested in her so yeah....

Agreed : )
Besides, it's not like she's your friend, so just go for it.
It's not like it has to lead to anything, you guys might become good friends or something.

You barely even know the girl, you're not doing any wrong to her by talking to this guy. If we couldn't date someone just because there might be someone else in the world who likes them too, well, then I think a lot of people in the world would be very lonely.

Lol you don't even know her! It would be different if this was a close friend of yours.
Maybe you're scared of the backlash you might face if word got around you were meeting up with him, from her group of friends?

your ambivalence and seemingly overconcern for that girl's feelings more than the Halloween guy means that you probably aren't too crazy about him either.
do what you want, not what he/other wants.

i've been in this situation before (minus the halloween part)
but yeah, a friend of a friend of mine also liked the guy who asked me out.
and guess what i did?
i accepted him.
it's not your fault he's not interested in her so she has no rights to blame you. ^^
