Like if they start comparing you to their ex a lot (in a negative way)
Or if they start ranting about their ex flirting/getting together with someone else
Or if they hang out with their ex maybe a LITTLE too much- like you can't automatically assume they're still into their ex if they chill once or twice, but if you get blown off, or if they're meeting up multiple times a week - then there's something to think about
There can be blurry lines, like some people say that they're just "really good friends with their ex"- but you can usually tell.. between friends and interest.

This could be represented in the form of anger/resentment, nostalgia, sadness, etc.
Any of these can spell out danger for the future of your relationship, so be wary.
If they feel no particular emotions towards their exs, then you're good to go. Well, at least that's how it worked out for me.

Now their back together.
Yeah..I'm going through this RIGHT NOW.
My bf gets SUPER defensive when I bring her up. I've asked him to stop talking to her because it really does hurt me (i know some people are gonna be like "yeah but he's with you") But what Every Verse said..they got back together..
For me, I'm not worried about that..I don't know why..it just hurts when he talks to her..yet he tells me he's not going to stop..
WORD. I like your answer. lolol

2. The tone of his voice when she gets brought up.
And the most obvious sign:
3. When he still worries about her well being.
I don't know about the last one...
I mean, I still care and worry for my ex, but I know that I'm definitely not into him anymore. There's nothing wrong with worrying and caring for exes if you guys stay friends.

I have this habit of appearing offline on MSN, so there I found out whenever he thinks I'm 'offline' he changes his nick and personal message about that girl O_O It was so obvious.
