Well basically this girl & i have been texting for a while. So i wanted to give it a try by, just say goodnight and wait for the next day. I decided to see if she'll text me first.. she used to text me first. Now I'm like.. what the crap you know? I waited like two days.. she never texted back.. she's still alive & stuff, i'm pretty sure. I just checked her facebook to make sure, and looking at all these convo's with guys. I'm getting stressed out, how she's not texting me at all. Apparently from sources, I think she likes me too.. but yeah. I wait like crazy for her to text me, and at the same time, I stress out..
is it like a invisible rule? guys have to text girls first in order to start a texting conversation? guys have to always text first blah blah blah..

What else I hate.. I hate how she talks to most guys on facebook, esp. when the guys sound annoying as hell and cheesy as freak -o-;

Then again this depends on the guy. If this guy is someone that I like, then I wait for him to text first. If
it's just a friend, then it doesn't matter who texts first.

Are you positive that she likes you back? The only reason why I wouldn't text is because I'm either busy
or I don't want to talk to that person. She could be playing hard to get or maybe she's just not that interested in
you. Since she talks to a lot of guys on facebook you could have read the signals wrong.

a lot of times i don't reply to texts if they were small texts like "okay" or "lol" or something like that.

i also usually don't reply after someone says "good night" because i don't want to start some texting thing of continuously saying goodbye back to each other and neither of us getting to bed...hahaha

i'm sort of in the same situation. I've been texting this guy for about 2 weeks now, usually he starts the conversations. I don't know if he likes me back or not, but i like him and we've been tag along dates for another couple.

I know I feel like I might be texting him too much, and sometimes I feel as if I'm bothering him, so if the girl you are talking to might feel the same way as I do, then you should definitely text her. That way she won't feel like she's bothering you and that you are still interested.

She might be too lazy to text back , cant text back (certain situations) , or she might not be interested in you so she doesnt bother to text you back.
My opinion it doesn't matter who texts first but how a person replies depends on your interest in a person.

Are you getting short, vague, and slow replies? if you are , mmmm ~ it's looking cloudy for you.

If she has time to talk to other guys. but ignore you , sign she's not interested.

You could keep trying, or find someone else.

oh and advice , to get her interest ask more interesting stuff.
not the "Hi, how are you? What's up?"
ask some questions about her and the things she likes , make small talk.

For me guys often text me "Hey , what's up? How are you?" like everyday.
