The funny thing is one of the clients that I was dealing with asked for my phone number days after I quit, and he finally got ahold of me and asked me for dinner. It was kind of awkward.. haha. Actually there were a lot of creepy clients that I dealt with. ugh. I'm glad that's over and done with. ^3^

Besides that, I have liked most of my jobs. Probably working as a Tech at Dodge, because after that I never really fixed my own car and hated working on cars after that lol

So you were the pinkberry working at corner.
Honestly, my job as a waitress at a pho restaurant! LOL! =) It was a pretty clean place, not hella dirty like a lot of pho places. But, damn asians are a pain in the ass to serve.

Not only that but the customers were just as annoying. They'd ask for baskets for the bread when it was right in front of them. They would complain about just about everything and anything. Not only that but they'd always make remakrs like "Paris Baguette always has cake boxes" if we ran out of boxes. I can go on forever...

but i really disliked my first job. it wasn't the people nor the job, coz they were alright.
it was the rules of the company that made me dislike it so much.

Ive been there for 2 years and that store has been through 4 managers in less than a year. =/ My current manager is a pushy person, even though we don't get commission or any kind of incentive. It's also hard because we're such a small store, everyone pretty much has what we try to sell them and may not benefit them at all.
and the pay sucks.

Back in college, I was an RA for a year and a half and i quickly realized that no one is normal. They may LOOK like it and ACT like they are OK in the head, but once they run into a problem, things go bat ass crazy.
Kinda ridiculous how at 22, I was in charge of 55 residents who were on average older than me by 2-8 years.
I've had to deal with:
people getting into a fight and breaking a beer bottle over another person's head
being the mediator between boyfriend/girlfriend relationships
finding a hamster that ran loose and could squeeze through the bottom crack of the dorm room doors
naked people running around the floor
theft & vandalism
underage drinking and drug use
having awkward talks about refilling the public condom basket with some residents. (Imagine having to health services and asking for a supply of 500+ condoms to the nurse. "Um. I'm a RA" "Ok here they are (sure you are creepy kid..)" haha
Ugh... it was a nightmare most of the time, but it really helped me realize that everyone is unique... even though that might not be a good thing. haha I have some crazy stories about my days as an RA

LOL that is hilarious.
My worst job was working at Tim Horton's because I had a stingy boss who didn't follow the rules. I think there was a rule in the contract with Tim Horton's that if you work more than 8 hours you need to have at least 8 hours before you start your next shift, but he had me working the night shift until 12 am, then schedule me for 6 am the next day. He'd also schedule me on Sundays, when I put it down in my availability on the application, clearly told him during my interview, and constantly reminded him that I had church on Sundays. He didn't give us our full breaks and he didn't even do anything when a girl burned her whole arm with freshly brewed coffee because the coffee maker was faulty.
Ugh, so glad I don't work there anymore.

The work wasn't just physically demanding, but really wore you down over time. Often barns were poorly ventilated and it was hard to breath, conditions were often really hot but we still had to wear protective cover-alls (b/c of avian flu), my clothes always smelled of turkey mini cooper even after washing them, and my hands always hurt and felt cramped. After I left the job it took more than two weeks for the cramps in my hands to go away.
I was glad that I was able to prove to myself that I can do tough manual labour, and a job that many people just can't hack; however two months was plenty long enough. How I pity the guys who may well still be on that crew with no better employment prospects available.
The job I genuinely loathed the most was my first teaching job in Korea. Over Chuseok I was in Incheon and had some time to kill, and took a stroll down to where I used to work. They had downsized from two buildings to one, and were in the smaller building. That really made me feel great.

Aside from working part-time, I was taking summer school because I had nothing better to do. But rather than giving me part-time hours, they gave me almost full-time hours by making me work almost everyday. It started getting out of hand when they started making me work alone on opening nights on Fridays --" I worked at KFC/Taco Bell, and I had to ring up the customers, serve them, as well as cook at the same time. The worst night was when I was alone on an opening night when two big movies came out. In the end, I quit because they were forcing me to work when I already told them I couldn't. When I told them that I couldn't and that I have told them over a week in advance, they merely said that it's just too bad. Heck, I had a paper worth 20% of my mark and they expected me to prioritize the job instead (pfff).
The second worst job was at a lottery call center. I never liked lotteries since I feel like I am robbing people off their money (despite the fact that it is their own choice to buy it or not). I applied for outbound (where we call the clients), but they kept on making me work inbound. Inbound was annoying as hell because the phone automatically picks up, so it was like no break at all. Not to mention, the computer had no mouse, and it was one of those blue with white font screens. I got quite a lot of attitude from the disabled who called companies to tell me their information. The longest phone call with a disabled client lasted for 35 minutes - most of which where they kept on giving me the attitude for not typing everything (name, address, number, credit card numbers, birth date, etc) at once --"
The third worst job? Let's just say that I don't suck up to people so my manager didn't like me much. Not to mention, everyone else were females and since I was not the perky type who enjoys gossiping, or drools over ever male customers, I was an outsider.
