I mean seriously, she basically makes up most of the American pop music industry she should at least be KNOWLEDGEABLE about the other types of music and artists of America. If she is really passionate about her music then she should at least listen to the other types of music out there so she doesn't look stupid like she just did. I don't like Jay Z's music but it's hard to avoid him esp. in the US so I'm surprised she does not know who he is. Does she not go to music award shows and not see Jay Z there? She is young so people should give her a break.

I completely agree. "Artists" these days. Kinda sucked the whole meaning out of being a singer in the first place. If she doesn't write her own songs, she could at the very least sing songs that connect with her on a personal level. Now it's quite apparent all she's interested in is the money and not really getting good music out there. Although its the same case with like 90% of the music out on the radio these days anyways. It's all about the money.. not really about the art.
