When the coworker suggests a system reformat for a simple malware infection. All it takes is 10 minutes of effort but apparently that is not worth his time. No point correcting someone that incompetent.

The class I intern for. Seriously, is it that hard to create two new layers on your fourth scene in Flash? How come all of a sudden, on the day the teacher isn't here, you all "forget" how to do the things that you do every single day (for a month!)?

Half of the class doesn't have the stuff they need in their animation to learn the coding (actually, the coding is so freaking simple that they can just do the first four steps right now, and the last one when they have their drawings done). So I decided to teach them tomorrow, and let them finish up today. Then I find out that during the whole period, they play a game instead. And yet, they complain about how this project is taking so long to be done with. Uh. Hello.

Even the teacher is sick of this project haha...

^ When the teacher was out, we used to play Counter-Strike on the old computers. The substitute would see us and shrug - I think one would have joined had he been able to.

Half the people in my design class seem to be lost with the triangle (ruler). I mean, the first few times I could understand not finding the right increments but it's just splitting inches. Wait until it's time to explore the metric system and having to convert on the spot. Also the failure to follow simple instructions - the midterm project calls for a simple client profile yet some forgot it. 

Edit: I read a thread about which race is the most violent. My IQ plummeted 20 good points so hopefully sleep will fix it all.

^ I slack off as well when this teacher is gone haha... Normally I'm fine with it. There's this one student that sometimes works on his homework, but that's OK with me because he's on track with his animation and understands everything. While there's this other guy that likes to go on TMZ.com for some reason, and has this IDC attitude towards his work. Even went on Facebook while the teacher was giving a lesson (that pissed him off so bad).

It's just frustrating when they waste their time playing the same web games, instead of working on their project, and at the same time complain about how this project is taking so long. It's only because the majority are always behind.

The only explanation my teacher could come up with to explain all this is that we just have a bad batch of kids this year. Bad meaning, for some reason they have a hard time understanding the simple things taught to them. Like double-clicking a symbol to "go into it" and edit it further... One kid somehow managed to make a symbol within a symbol within a symbol within a symbol, etc... I'm not sure if we should attempt to teach them how to make a 3d model and animate it.
