I'm planning on getting the Samsung Impression soon, but I noticed that it is quite large compared to my current Blackberry Pearl.
I mean...it's pretty BIG. I always keep my phone in my pocket and I almost always wear jeans (which have tight pockets).
I was wondering if the phone would be too BIG for comfort.
I'm going to get it no matter what, but I was just thinking about how I'm going to stick that big thing in my pocket.
My mom says that the reason why my Pearl's keys broke is because I always keep it in my pockets. tongue.gif

What do you guys think of those big phones?
surely, you're the one

the impression is quite big but not that big compared to say, iphone or sidekick.

i guess your best bet is to get different jeans with big pockets.
my bf has a blackberry bold and he fits it in his pocket just fine. his jeans are slim/straight fit.

if you're a girl, then i really have to ask why dont you just get a bag? lol

LOL yes I am a girl but I put my phone on vibrate a lot because of school.
I just hope it won't feel awkward to transition to such a large phone.
I remember before I got my blackberry, I had a tiny little Samsung and the transition felt pretty strange.

That's gonna be a comfort issue if you keep your phone in your pocket while in class.

I've seen cute carrying pouches that can attach or strap to your belt loop on your jeans if you don't find having the xtra weight. You can also get a lanyard and wear your phone around your neck. Of course you can get a fannypack too but ppl might laugh at ya lol. I think you'll be fine with the impression altho it'll be a little snug in your pocket.

Hmm. I always have my HTC Hero (GSM) in my pocket and it fits fine... But then again my jeans aren't that tight haha. Anyway I guess you could either suffer through it and squeeze the phone in there or wear different jeans or use a different phone o_o

I usually put my phone in my back pocket, and when I sit down,
I take it out and set it in my lap. If It's in the front pocket it's kind of hard
to get it in and out, but if slips right in and out of the back pocket.
And if i'm not going to be sitting for a long time, I don't even bother to take it out.

My last two phones have been touch and they've both been fine.
honestly... you're not half as special as you think you are.

This was one of my main reasons for trading in my sidekick for a normal flip phone, too big, bulky, and ugly. I started just keeping it in my purse, which does me no good when someone calls, texts, or IM's me, since I can't hear or feel it when it's in there.
