I freaking love this dish, especially with beef jerky and this special kind of soy sauce. Anyone else like it?

I... LOVE... papaya salad. You have no idea how much I love this stuff. I remember I really really wanted papaya salad one day. I literally went through the yellow pages and called each thai food place and i'd ask if they had papaya salad and if they didn't.. I wouldn't order from them. Hahhaha.

I had it at a viet place once and it was ... not what I was expecting so maybe the thai and viet ones are diff? If so then I prefer the thai. I didn't even eat the one at the viet place cause I didn't like it. Mainly cause it wasn't what I wanted.
Some say i'm a genius, others say i'm crazy
but they all say i'm a little on the weird side

Papaya salad is the bomb! Especially when you add a lot of peppers. Am I the only one who drinks the juice when I finish eating everything? Instant diarrhea, but it's too good.

mmm yummy. this is so healthy and delicious!

There's also another type of papaya salad ( i actually thought of this one when i read the title.) ..its spicy with tomatoes, usually eaten with sticky rice.super good too.

i love green papaya, don't like the fruit.

Yep, everytime I go to a party with Lao people. This is always one of the foods that are always served.

I like the Laos style better, more spicy!!
I have this every day,, either made with papaya, mangos, greens beans, carrots, or cucumbers.
