if you could, take breaks every hour you play. i can play for 14hours without breaks with no problems. but if you feel like throwing up, i suggest ginger ale or soda crackers.

Modern Warfare 2 eh?

Look at something far off in the distance every now and then. If you feel like you're going to throw up, stop playing and take a break.

^lol@assuming it's MW2 (:

and i have the same problem! :/ sometimes i can play through the motion sickness and i'll feel fine.. but sometimes it gets sooo bad i have to lie down for a while ): i used to get motion sickness from CS, but i played for hours and hours and finally got used to it? sometimes something sour will help my nausea, but usually i succumb to hiding under my covers in the dark because i let the nausea get so bad, haha >__<

For motion sickness on cruise ships/boats, there's an acupressure point you can push to relieve it...
I heard it works. At least, the guy who visited from a massage therapy college taught the entire class where it was, how to put pressure on it, etc. I haven't given it a try during motion sickness myself but o___o

My suggestion is to take breaks? Play for 30 minutes, take a break [get fresh air, food, exercise, etc] then play again? It's not good for your health to play games for long hours anyways

I heard this happens to people who are relatively new to virtualisation. You should get used to it over time. For now you can try to keep your glucose, electrolytres and hydration up but really, just try not to play games for lengthy periods.

hahaha that's weird =P but if u get motion sickness, they have these wristbands u can buy from like a drugstore that won't make u nauseous. [somethin' 2 do w/ pressure points] =] They deff work! ^^

I used to feel really sick whenever I go on airplanes, but recently my mom told me about something she read somewhere..
Take a Salonpas (patch? sticker? what to call it..) and stick it on your stomach, a few inches above your belly button. Do this a little bit (like a few minutes?) before you get on your plane/car/vehicle. It should make you feel better smile.gif It works really well for me. (Hopefully it'll work for videogame-motionsickness too.)

omg! i hate this.
i was so excited to play l4d2.. when i downloaded the demo i played for 15mins and felt so indescribably horrible. i had to lay in my bed for like 1hr-2hrs just to shake the feeling.

this happened to me when i played resident evil 5, too. :/
