Hello, all

I'm new to the Cars thread, but I've been stealth for awhile here and I think it's time I make myself more visible, more involved, more dynamic. So, what better time to start when I'm becoming an enthusiast myself. You all here in the Cars thread are amazing with your vast knowledge about autos. I type before thee humbled.

As the title says I'm looking for something fun to drive, and my selection of whips aren't making the decision any bit easy. Therefore, I would like advice from those that have the experience of owning one of these vehicles. Opinions from enthusiasts are certainly welcome as well. Consider priority towards reliability and fuel efficiency; the plan is to venture great distances. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

The Girls

Vintage / Classic Girls

2006 Infiniti G35 / Silver

2006 Acura TL / Silver

2006 Acura RSX / Nighthawk Black Pearl

2006 Mazda 6 / Blue

2004 Mazda RX8 / Crimson Black (Grand Touring Edt)

2004 Nissan Maxima / Burgandy

1994 Special

1987 Nissan 300 ZX Twin Turbo / Red

Dolls

2010 Chevy Camaro / Black, Red, White

2010 Ford Mustang GT / Black & Purple

I thought about the option of getting a 350Z, but two seaters just won't cut it when out with friends.

How unfortunate...

The names Kuraiya. Pleasure to be an acquaintance.

neither do these other cars u listed have usable backseats. You might fit a small kid in the GT and Camaro and that's about it.

300zx has 2 seats only.

Well based on your sig. i'd assume your a metrosexual.. so i'll have to say TL, RSX or G35 or Camaro.

I realllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy like the 2010 camaro ss.. V8
If you get that you're amazing.

out of all the options i think you would like g35 the most.

V8's are very efficient in highway mpg.

2006 Infiniti G35 / Silver - Good choice
2006 Acura TL / Silver - Good choice as well.
Between these 2 cars I think its a matter of what do you like more; sedans or coupes? They're both really reliable considering that the TL engine is pretty much a Honda engine and Honda's are amazing in terms of longevity. Personally I would pick the G35 because I like the coupe look and usually when I go out it's just me and my girlfriend. If you're the poor soul that gets stuck driving all your friends all the time, go for the TL for comfort and convenience

2006 Acura RSX / Nighthawk Black Pearl - Personally I like the RSX but this car is definitely lacking in power compared to the other cars. The torque band is really level so it'll seem sluggish. If you're talking about a Type S though... different story.

2006 Mazda 6 / Blue - My friend has a Mazda6 from this generation. I've driven it a few times and I like Mazda's version of "Tiptronic" but like the RSX this car is also sluggish unless you're talking about the V6 version.

2004 Mazda RX8 / Crimson Black (Grand Touring Edt) - If you're going to go rotary engines, go RX7.

2004 Nissan Maxima / Burgandy - I would take a TL over this.

1994 Special - One turbo. *drool*
1987 Nissan 300 ZX Twin Turbo / Red - Twin turbo. *more drool*
Kiss reliability and fuel efficiency out the window. These cars are both getting old and are going to require a lot of maintenance. If you're using the turbo heavily then you have to take extra time to let the turbos cool down before you completely turn the engine off.

To sum up... if you're going strictly for fuel efficiency just get a 4 banger (RSX or Mazda6). If you want some performance without sacrificing too much fuel efficiency then I'd say TL or G35 then it's a matter of coupe vs sedan. If you want strictly performance, then go for the Supra or 300ZX.

Don't ask me about American cars. I hate them.

Acura TL or Camaro.

G35 has been officially dubbed "Douchebag Car".
None of the other choices can live up to the awesomeness of the TL or Camaro.

The newest Camaro looks so damn good, I can't help but drool over it.

Get the Camaro in black, black out your rims, and then smoke your headlights (not too much) a bit so they appear darker. I' saw a car like that once on the freeway - it was possibly one of the most awesome cars I've seen in a while.

V8 cars usually have pretty tall gearing so rpm at cruising speeds is quite low. My DOHC 5.4L V8 still drinks like a fish though. lol

If that Acura TL is anything similar to the Accord here in Aus I'd get that. It'll pull well, a comfortable and great long drive car. And 4 comfy seats well keep the passengers happy!

thats my 2cents.

Thanks for all the flattering words. How long it take you to think of it and type it all out?
When you refer to buying a car as "on the market for a new baby girl" made me think you wanted to kidnap a little baby girl.
Funny how you characterized the cars as "Dolls" and "Classic Girls".

Anyway I'll just take it as you're just a colorful person.

For comfort get the Acura TL
For sportyness get the G35

You'll save more gas in a TL though, just so ya know.
Also, I have been in both a TL and G35 for long periods of time. I think the TL is quieter and just feels more luxurious.

I drive sports cars, I don't need luxury. If you're looking for a sports car, out of that group I would pick up the RX-8 or the 300zx. However, if you pick up the 300zx, you MUST know and be aware of some maintenance you're going to have to do, I would get the car thoroughly checked out before buying it too.

I think he can. He can type... so I'm pretty sure he can read and write.

I think they taught chimps to drive auto in Germany, I heard it took them like 3 weeks. I have no data or source to back this up. This is what the previous owner of my Miata told me. He was trying to sell me the car, adding it was loads of fun because it was manual.

Get the TL and call it a day.

Toyota Supra and a Nissan 300ZX TT is not what you call classic or vintage in my honest opinion neither is it fuel efficient. I mean you are talking about a car that was sold when Reagan was president and the other being an twin-turbocharged inline six which by no means is fuel efficient.
