My alma mater, Emory University, uploaded this video today. I've been listening to it and am amazed by Dr. Han Wan-Sang's story.

I'm sure many, many of you have lived through or seen something similar.

I didn't start this thread in the Current Events or the General Discussion subforums because I wanted to hear from people old enough to have encountered the implications of a divided Korea -- either through stories from family or from personal accounts.
