Ok, so like, every time I read a mag, and find something useful, I search for the scans online, and save them in a folder. I really like certain japanese magazines because, I dunno, they're so down to earth, and have practical tips and tricks for like normal women. As opposed to stuff like Vogue, and Elle and Cosmopolitan, soooo many ads, and most of the pics are ridiculous 6' women with perfect legs and the like. And their obsession with sex stuff. BOOOring.

I don't know Japanese, but the pictures are always so descriptive, you know exactly what to do. I'm European, but I'm so impressed with how Japanese women take care of themselves - most of the magazines have stuff like street snaps - pictures of regular girls, and most of them are like TONS above what I see on the street in my country - perfect hair, manicure, etc. I mean, even taking into account they select only the best looking for pictures, everyone where I live is booring, booring, drab colours, no sense of style, chav-like clothing reigning supreme, and I rarely see hair that's been properly taken care of, let alone in some kind of do.

So yeah -hope you find them useful (like I did - using some massage techniques, some yoga and that popular bath thingie I my ankles look skinnier, and I lost 2 cm in my calves!):

Included some bento ideas. Notice - nutritional stuff. You could lose weight by eating 8 cookies a day, but it won't get you a hot body. More like a skinny flabby one with a fat belly despite visible bones.

Yep, they're totally skinny biggrin.gif . It's not useful to try to copy them 100%, because most have very lucky bone structures, so if you take someone more average, she could never go down to a delicate tiny build, diet or not. But good inspiration.

And they start having more normal weights once they go past 20. I mean, take Egg magazine. It's more centered on teenagers, so they strive for RIDICULOUSLY low weights (like, in cm/kg, it's a 20 difference for most, if not more). And you know what, it shows, most have no ass whatsoever, you often find them recommending fake butts, like silicon pouches haha. While mags like Biteki, you see people aiming for normal 10-15 difference. Like, say, 160 and 50 kg.

Some more stuff today - first how 4 women took up diet and exercise and lost, not necessarily weight, but INCHES. Which is what anyone who wants to look better, should focus on. Not weight. Look at the 3rd girl, she actually GAINED a pound, yet lost cm all over, even in places it's EXTREEMLY hard to lose, like calf and arm.

Check out this one - it's the infamous HALF bath. I've read a lot about this, it's quite popular. It's said to burn 145 calories, for 45 minutes. I dunno about that, I use it more for beauty reasons (sweating is GREAT for your skin). But can't hurt, right?

My routine is - fill the bathtub up to your bellybutton, bring with you a magazine (otherwise you'll get bored) and at least 1 liter of water, cold (since it's cold you will sweat more). I also bring a home-made face mask, which I keep on my face for the duration - stuff like honey, or mashed up fruit. Get in, don't get your upper part wet. while you're at it, might as well do some light stretching, since the hot water helps, do yoga breathing (featured lower), you can also do some lifting of weights with that bottle of water (I usually bring a 2 liter one).

Yoga breathing - do it slowly, and try to make a 1-2 second pause after both inspiration and expiration.
Inspire - when you do this, push your belly outwards as much as you can.
Expire - pull your belly inwards as much as you can,

It looks silly, but try doing it for 10 minutes, your abs will BURN.

Another day, some more stuff biggrin.gif This time from Vivi magazine - ways to get that flat stomach, both by stretching and detoxing food like yoghurt and stuff with lots of fiber:

Yesterday I did - dancing, during which I sprayed thermal water on my face, then a TON of stretching, then a half bath with a massage during, and during the halfbath I wore the oatmeal mask (either grind oats in a coffee grinder, or buy oat flour), and Oh Em GEEE my face was so smooth afterwards and I got a 90% reduction in my blackheads on my nose, it was like, the skin was closed up and they weren't there and my legs look MAD toned.

So yeah - sweating does your face good, and oatmeal mask is my new friend.

I'm like SUPER similar with the girl on the right in measurements, Except my waist is 61-62 depending on the time of the day. My bellybutton WAS 73, but now it's 69. WOOOT, dancing got it mad toned. My hip is still 91-92, I can't make it budge sad.gif. She's 168, and 55 kg fyi. Goes to show you don't have to be mega skinny to have small measurements.

The reuploading is over, may part II commence (ps, oh em gee, it took forever to reupload, it was so slow, and I had to do it 30-40 files at a a time).

On today's menu we have:

# Arm exercises










# Posture, and ways to incorporate exercise in your daily routine (I think this is very important, by my estimations u can burn up to 300 calories extra by being generally active, always taking the stairs, not sitting down during public transportations, getting up from your chair and doing a bit of stretching, etc.)









# A 3 week exercise program






# An incentive to stay of normal weight. NOBODY likes flat butts, not even japanese girls (who aim for ridiculous skinnyness levels). See what happens if you DON'T exercise, and starve, leading to muscle shriveling up? Flat butts. Better to eat well, and exercise.






# INSPIRATION - average girls photographed on the streets.











# How to get pretty shoulders, plus stretching
