Hi guys.
I'll change my phone soon since I got bored with mine already.
For now I can't decide between these 3 phones.

Samsung Star WiFi

What I like about it:
- Has WiFi
- Cute style and Korean-ish >_<
- Has color in pink and white
- Touchscreen
What I don't really like about it:
- Can't customize theme
- Touchscreen might be less sensitive after a long time of using
- Not sure if it's lag or not when listening to music,watching videos or multi-tasking.

Samsung Corby

What I like about it:
- It might look ugly in the pic but it look nice on the video review I saw in YT.
- The battery cover can be change to other pattern/color.
- Touchscreen
- Released in Korea too, so I'll probably find some cute battery covers in gmarket or something.
What I don't really like about it:
- No WiFi
- Can't customize the theme
- Touchscreen might be less sensitive after a long time of using
- Not sure if it's lag or not when listening to music,watching videos or multi-tasking.

Nokia E63

What I like about it:
- Has WiFi
- Can change themes
- QWERTY keypads
What I don't like about it:
- Keypad can be laggy if typing fast when messaging
- Only come with 2 colors that I don't really like.
- Not sure if it's lag or not when listening to music,watching videos or multi-tasking

So yeah, I don't know which one to choose. >_<
And if you guys have other suggestions it would be nice.Better if it's affordable. =)

I'm not sure what's the price in US because I'm from Malaysia. >_<
But it's quite affordable since it's targetted to students.
I think it has been released in the US but I'm not sure though. =x

i wouldnt get the Nokia E63 if i dont text alot or message. it's really ugly. if you want a qwerty get a blackberry.


of those three, i would get the Samsung Star Wifi. i have one and i dont have any complaints. Its the best looking one.

Is the audio-jack thingy the normal one? I mean can we use headset that is not provided by Samsung?

unfortunately it doesnt have the 3.5mm headjack that mp3 players and ipods use. you'd have to use the Samsung one that is provided.

i might be biased but i would get the Corby one. i got it and love it. never liked touchscreen but this one is really worth the money. it's not that expensive anyway (:

i would choose E63
I don't know about SamSung Corby but my friends both E63 and Star Wifi
I don't see her having any problem when using E63
It's not lag and quite fast to text
E71 is good too

Star wifi is okay but sometimes it unlock itself when she put it in her bag lol
it's because she put it near books and her stuff
also i find it difficult to use wifi

I like the Star Wifi, reminds me of my nokia 5800. I don't like the corby because of the round edges. The Nokia looks like the blackberry.

@curly: does it lags a lot?or doesn't lag at all?my current phone (lg ks360) lags a lot and it bothers me. >_<

@parkjimin: it's hard to use wifi? D: can she surf youtube?i found somewhere that they can't stream youtube using star wifi. >_<

i know someone that has the nokia.
its pretty good. just like any other smart phone i would say. reliable!

i want to get the samsung corby but i'm not too sure about it. i've tried to read the reviews but i'm not so sure about the 3G thing. but since it works with AT&T i might get it. its not too expensive so that's another good thing. and plus my upgrade will be a few months if i plan to get it so i'll just change phones once again( my beginner phone totally screwed up and now my temporary phone's sound isn't working...yikes, right?!)

but, overall, good luck on picking your phone!

I like the Samsung Star. C:
First, it has WiFi hehe.
But, it's a touch screen which has it's bad points :|
I like how it looks. Simple.

The Nokia is ehh. The only good part is it's WiFi and that it isn't touch screen.

But then again, this is all my own personal opinion without seeing these phones or trying them.

Well, If its me I will wait for Corby Wifi It is expected to be released this January. If you want touch screen you should go for Corby. People said that the corby touch screen is better than Star. and I think Corby won't unlocked on its own since it have a smart unlock(something sound like it)

I'm thinking of buying Corby this 2010, still saving right now

I already bought Samsung Star without WiFi since no shops in my town have those in stocks. >_>
So I ended up bought the one w/o wifi. BUT it still good. The battery life is good. Everything is good.
Didn't regret buying. Heheh~

So yeah, mod can close this topic already. Thanks everyone for the replies. ^_~
