My mom's side of the family lives in a different city a few hours away from me, whereas my dad's side live in Asia.
So christmas is usually spent with my mom's side, unless we're vacationing in Asia.
We buy christmas presents for everyone, and when it's time to open/hand out presents, we go by birthday months or age. This is for my cousins and I, we don't include our aunts and uncles haha. For them we just give it to them whenever.
We'll sit in a big circle [I have a lot of cousins], and we'll be called up to get our presents. But before we receive our presents, we have to say something christmas-y, or sing a song. After all the presents are handed out, we'll take a big group photo, and then unwrap the gifts!

Sit down and watch some Christmas programs on TV.

My family doesn't celebrate Christmas, but I still love wearing my Santa hat around and look at my neighborhood house lights.

I usually celebrate it with my mom's side of the family. We have a big Thanksgiving-like dinner at either my house or my aunt or my uncles on Christmas Eve. Lately, we track Santa on NORAD for fun. xD We bring all the presents there and open it after dinner (yes, before Christmas!) while sipping hot cocoa. I'm a lot older now, but it's really fun watching my little cousins open their gifts.

There are only about 4 kids under 10 so it's not too crazy. It's really cozy and mellow. <3

My family and I fly down to california to be with the rest of our family and we all gather around to exchange gifts, drink hot chocolate, watch movies, and play games.

blast the music . dance . karaoke !
and those who know how to play an instrument, be it the piano or guitar or whatever, have to play something. at least one song per each person.

As a child, family & I used to put up decorations and trees and give each other gifts.

My teenage years weren't as exciting.

I remember the first year I moved out, we brought a tree home but got too lazy to decorate it.

Now I live in a house that's too small to even fit a fake tree in...

I have it all planned out. I don't think this will ever change, at least I hope it doesn't.

Xmas eve: Spend time with the bf, exchange gifts if unable to do so on Xmas day.
On the nighttime, I'll play an old game. Usually, an old final fantasy. I'll do this til about 12am and watch an epsiode of Sailor Moon (<--- Doesn't happen all the time but I did it for a few years XD Just for nostalgia!)

Xmas day: Wake up, contemplate if I can be bothered to get out of bed, then decide I want to see my sisters faces when they open their gifts so I go down, drink tea and wait til I'm awake to open my own.
Around 11amish I head down my dads, get my gifts off him and usually around 12pm, my auntie comes and picks us up, we go to hers and me, my cousins, dad and auntie and uncle all sit around for dinner! smile.gif
then... xmas celebrations! music, crackers, games on the Wii, all sitting around talking...

been that way for about 4 years now HAHA. biggrin.gif I love it.
