Anne Hathaway is rumored to play the curvaceous Black Cat in Spider-Man 4.

Nikki Finke, who has sources over at Marvel Entertainment, reports that producers have approached Anne to star as Black Cat, an ex-girlfriend of Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire). Also rumored for the role: Rachel McAdams and Julia Stiles.

anne hathaway playing a villain shut your face!! I'd go see the movie just for that even though i completely lost faith in the spider man movies after the 3rd movie.

I think she'd be awesome for the role i love her acting and i think she'd portray the role well.

Honestly I think she would make a better black cat than Rachel McAdams. She seems more of the fierce type and Rachel is more calm and nice type. But it's just a rumor so we'll have to see

The producers of the Spiderman movie series are weird. As a Spiderman cartoon and comic book fan, I am very disappointed in the casting and direction of the movies. In my opinion, the female actresses are all mixed up. Great actresses, just playing the inappropriate roles.
