So there's this guy i've been with for 7 months (well.. in 6 days, its our monthsary). He's my first love... but last week, i got really depressed out of nowhere and i took my sadness out on him. we argued a few times before and we always made up in the end. but this time, he told me he needed space. i started getting scared b/c in his last serious relationship, he dumped his ex just a few days before THEIR 7th month...
she was really pushy and she called him all the time. so he got annoyed b/c she wouldn't leave him alone.
but i gave him his space. i didn't call him until wednesday. that's FOUR days of solitude for himself...
i finally called him, and he told me he doesn't want to be with me anymore.. and it's for good. he told me that he doesn't treat me right and maybe a part of him never wanted to anyway, he also said that he doesn't feel the same way about me anymore and that he never really opened up to me and he doesn't know why but he doesnt want me to hate him...
i was so shocked when i heard all of this... but i stayed calm and told him that it's ok and i don't hate him and that we can be friends. but that night, i got super drunk and ended up calling him and crying and asking him for another try... it didn't roll over too well...
it's been 2 days now since our breakup, and im feeling so crappy...
i have a few questions for you guys..
1. why would you NOT want to treat your gf properly? (he's been hurt in the past by his 1st love so he's scared of opening up too much... would that even apply to this?)
2. do you think there's a chance for us to get back together? is it really over in his head?
3. we broke up before and he didn't want to get back at all. he told everyone with confidence that we're done for good, but we got back after 3 weeks. do you think he's just not thinking straight?
4. what should i do? im scared.. i feel like if i cry to him and beg for him back, he'll either get creeped out and run for the hills OR he'll realize that i really do love him and we're worth another shot.... but then again, if i act cool about it and act happy-go-lucky, he might remember why he fell for me in the first place and he might miss me OR he might think that it's ok to go get another girl since he thinks im completely fine...
people tell me that im supposed to keep my space from him for a while and be really happy if i ever see him, never let him see me depressed over this, and dress up and look my best. it'll make him miss me and also lose the 'upper hand' that he got when he dumped me... is this true?
