but here's an answer to your question: If you think he's worth it, wait. but there is no promise that he'll do the same.
especially since there is no given time frame. Figure out why you fell for him and make sure it isn't for reasons that you'll regret later on.

You really need to give us more information in order for us to come up with advice.
But when I read your title, one thought came to mind without having read the content:

I tend to believe that, unless you are a super psychic--and assuming that super psychics even exist, you will not be able to tell whether or not someone is the love of your life or true love until the day you die. Logically, it doesn't make sense. How can you tell if you love someone the most until you know you will never love anyone else more--and how can you know that until the second before you die? If you think you're in 'true' love with this person and base your waiting on this theory of 'true' love then I don't think it's worth your time. Simply planning to wait for someone is dumb. If it turns out that, within the next year, you don't find yourself attracted to someone else, then that's fine. But forcing yourself to wait is just ridiculous.

i think you should ask yourself..if you feel that he is worthwhile..& if you feel that he is..then yes you should wait..i also agree with *MrPower* above who said..that you should consider your reasons..for why you fell for him..and whether the current feelings..and emotions you have..are really that of true love..this reminds me of the saying..'without great risk one can not taste love'..if you feel that it is true love..then why should you not wait..to be with that person who makes you happy?..i wish you both good luck

I think love is a relationship that lasts 20+ years. Most people don't get that being in love is different from having love for someone.
