Ok, so i haven't gone swimming or anything, and all of a sudden i got a plugged ear, and then it started getting worse, to the point where when i tilt my head i can hear a rattling noise, and now whenever i give pressure to my ears i can hear it. but now it feels really blocked? so stupid me used a q-tip to try and clean it out
. it's even worse!! help?

Maybe you have wax build up in your ear? I'd go to the doctor and get that checked out for safety reasons. You don't want to leave it be for a long time, because you could lose your hearing. =/ You could also try finding one of those ear cleaning kits at the stores, where you wash out your ear, but choosing to go to the doctor would probably be for the best. (Just in case it isn't wax build up.)

Could just be because of a shower.. you should put more water in your ear if it's water that's in it. If it's wax or whatever, you need to put baby oil in it and let it sit for around 5 minutes then tilt the other way to try and get it out. Don't use a qtip cause it could make it worst or push it in even farther to damage your hearing.

Don't use anything that is smaller than your pinky to clean out your ears but, you're actually never suppose to stick anything in your ears to clean them.
**I know, how gross!**
Anyhow, if it doesn't hurt then it might just me ear gunk that's clunking around but, if there is small to medium pain and you hear rattling then I would go see a doctor as soon as possible because it could turn into a nasty ear infection.
Hope you feel better!

You should really go to the doctor as soon as possible because you are at risk for infection.

The same thing happened to my roommates a few years ago. She went to the doctor's office and they said it was wax buildup on her eardrums, as someone mentioned earlier. All they did was clean her ear and it was gone after that.
