Try doing some exercise everyday.
It's been proven to be one of the BEST mood stabilisers.
Lowers blood pressure, lowers stress hormones, ups endorphin production (which are responsible for feeling good) and generally helps u be grounded.
Doesn't have to be boring stuff, if u find gyms boring, don't go to the gym, dance, or do hoola hoop or yoga.
Also, do relaxing stuff like massage, yoga breathing, a long bath with sea salt, calming music.
Oh, and before u blow up on someone, stop yourself, and count to 10 slowly, while breathing deep. Try to detach yourself from the anger and think more in terms of problem solving. What can u do to fix this? A or B. Then do A or B. Is there nothing you can do? Then it's not your fault, you can't fix it. What does anger do? Nothing at all. What do u win by frowing? Wrinkles. What do you win by not freaking out and treating stuff calmly and methodically? Less stress, and better results.

It's good that you can recognize when you're being moody in excess - it means you can maintain composure and understanding in difficult situations.
You can think of your mood as your body trying to get you to behave in a certain way. If you're still fairly young, it's not unusual to be moody and there's nothing you need to do but just ride out the storm.
I've met some bipolar individuals, one of them an artist who told me he enjoyed both the ups and downs that comes with the disorder. So yeah, if you deem it manageable, I'd go so far as to say enjoy the strength of your emotions because when you hit your 20s, fewer things will move you quite like they did when you were in your teens.
My point is, although your mood swings may not seem very enjoyable or convenient, you'll develop your emotional intelligence over time, allowing you to maintain a good perspective of the situation.
Having said all that, if you find that you're so moody as to bring wrath and destruction to everything and everyone in eyeshot, then yeah perhaps you should seek some counselling.

i think you're still in your teen to late-teen years right? lol, i'm not gonna be stalker-like & ask you how old you are. well if you are, it's perfectly normal to have mood swings all the time, in fact i feel the same way. i'm always exploding randomly at people for stupid reasons, simply because of my mood. ><
yeah, like everyone is saying, try exercise? &a good, consistent diet should help, giving you energy everyday, & a good body, helps make a good day =) ohh yeaaahh, sleep might help, & some time just with yourself, to relax & stuff. stress? something could be bothering you but you just don't realize it, your brain is alway doing things you're not aware of.
i don't know if it's just me, make drinking water makes me feel better hahha. good luck ! (:
