i just got the new sky 8500 phone, and its awesome...2mp camera, mp3 player, jog wheel for easy navigation, good screen/resolution, good video, nice sound, etc....

the aesthetics is awesome though...when you look at it in person its awesome...mines in silver and black though...they also have white and pink

i think the design on 8500 isn't that great. my favorite sky phone is 7400 because it's soooo pretty... i liked how some of the 8xxx versions have like rounded edges and stuff but 8500 is really angled and edgy. it kind of reminds me of the really old 6300.

plus, since you use it here, you can't do any of the cool internet stuff, can you? what CAN you do with an imported korean phone anyway, other than taking pictures, making phone calls, and sending text messages?

Not to be mean to whoever does the following but why would u browse the internet on your phone? Its such a small screen. And verizon v-cast? What? Watch tv shows on an inch and a half screen? Aim people by spending 5 mins to send just one sentence?
But seriously. I'm curious, who uses the internet on their phone and for what besides DLing ringtones and other phone related downloads (wallpapers etc)

I don't have the sky phone but with my regular phone i dont have internet and i don't care. I only cared when i wanted ringtones but i'm getting a new phone with cuter ringtones anyways. problem solved!

sure, downloading ringtones is a part of it. these days in korea, they have dmb phones, which use the satellite to watcfh tv on the cell phones. my dad has a dmb phone [he lives in korea] and even though the screen is only like, 2 inches, it's still really nice and clear and it's cool becuse you flip channels to see what else is on and stuff. plus his is the newer version of my v600 so the screen rotates to a 4:3. also there's downloading games, downloading movies and music videos, and going on cyworld. there's so many things you can do on-line on your cell phone in korea and if you couldn't do that with a korean phone here then i think it loses an important quality of the cell phone.
