i want to ask can i put a background music like in xanga? if yes, how to?
and ... how to change my blog background with an image?

Hello,
I used to use blogger.com (http://spikyrebel.blogspot.com/), and adding background music, I assume, is to use the basic html for it in the body tag. Like <bgsound src="music.mid" loop="1">
I'm not familiar with Xanga at all, so I can't help you there.
Changing things like the background and such is easy, just modify the <body> tag.
Or, you can pick up a premade skin here: http://blogskins.com/
There are a lot to chose from, and you can modify the images.
