hi i recently started having problems unzipping files with random symbols on it
(the kind you get when tkorean font goes wrong, like this @';) when i look at winrar
archive there are 13 files in the zip but when i extract it using winrar
only half of the files are unzipped (usually the ones with just english or numbers)
the others get an error something about incorrect syntax, but when i press the test button
everything is fine. Can anybody help me? oh and im using the newest winrar
and i tried using the korean font one too and it didin't work. thanks!

I had this same issue as well. I solved it by using WinZip, but you may be able to do this in WinRAR as well. What you do is you open up the ZIP file first. Click the 'back' button or the 'go up one level' button (which ever one you have).
If the window refreshes to show a folder, you're in luck. Simply export the folder (it should contain the files you want) and you should have no problem at all. Good luck.

If nothing else works. If you're using Winxp, you can change the language settings to Korean. Then you should have no problems extracting. I'm turning mine to Chinese for Chinese zipfiles which I have problems extracting and it works. But I suggest try to find another version of the files first. Because you needs to reboot twice for changing back to the English language. I find it sometimes quite a hassle, expecially when I'm in the middle of a download.
