i was wondering how i could shrink my pictures before posting them
the majority of my pics are really big and i feel kind of bad posting them
i noticed this black bar underneath some small pictures saying that they were huge files
and you went to another page when u clicked the pic.
does that only apply to imageshacking or something?
does anyone know what i'm talking about?
can u do that with photobucket?
i feel kinda dumb asking this question...but i would really appreciate it if someone could help me

you can open it in ms paint and resize it by using the stretch feature, but when you save it it loses a lot of quality...
i think many people here resize it with photoshop or paint shop pro... the software that comes with your imaging devices also does a decent job...

Are you talking about thumbnails? Because yeah, I think only imageshack can do that. Not sure about photobucket.

Use imageshack. If you want to use photobucket.. upload the original pic. Then take a screen shot of the thumbnail & upload that too. Then you have to sort out the coding so your thumbnail is clickable into the orig. one
